Summary[]
SERIES FINALE – Vincent (Jay Ryan) and Cat (Kristin Kreuk) are willing to make the ultimate sacrifice to stop an attack and rid the world of beast makers once and for all.
Plot[]
Catherine sorts out her will while Vincent makes a shady deal to sell his car. Leaving JT and Tess to try to figure out the Prince’s whereabouts before Braxton has a chance to kill his final target and frame Vincent for it. Meanwhile Heather tries to charm Kyle into convincing the hospital staff to let her go. That night, Vincent and Catherine kidnap Karim, the Prince’s assistant, who shares that the Prince hired Braxton to make him super-bodyguards. The Prince even provided volunteers, not knowing they the subjects would die. They take Karim to Vincent’s fake apartment that Braxton staged. They convince Karim that his boss was in great danger. That gave them access to the prince’s travel route into the city from LaGuardia. This leaves Vincent and Cat temporarily with “nothing to do”. Meanwhile Braxton builds a bomb with magnets, which he hides under a manhole cover. The next day, Heather walks in on Catherine’s meeting with her lawyer who is helping Cat write her Last Will and Testament. Heather cries, upset. Cat explained her wish to see Heather move on with her own life once the beast business is behind them. Cat has prepaid Heather’s lease and signed over her car and left her a box of Vanessa’s things. At the Gentlemen’s Club, Vincent surprises J.T. with a super laptop, to replace the equipment he sold weeks ago. J.T. says that although the “brothers” knew this day was coming, it doesn’t make it any easier. They hug and have a drink. Tess refuses to say goodbye to Cat. Vincent suggests a wine date on the rooftop. Vincent and Cat mention how sad it is that they are not coming back and hug. The next day, Braxton plans to attack the Prince when he is in transit with this diplomatic caravan. JT pretends to stall his car so that the prince is briefly detoured. Thanks to the distraction, Vincent “blurs” himself and Cat into the prince’s limousine. They explain the dire situation, right before the prince's convoy heads onto the targeted Queensboro Bridge. Cat and Vincent drop off the prince and his driver, then drive the limo onto (and off of) the bridge. J.T. watches in horror as the bomb explodes the vehicle midair with Vincent and Catherine supposedly inside. That night, Tess finds a broken JT near the bridge. After an emotional hug, they track down Braxton to a getaway jet. Tess hands JT her shotgun from her car and they shoot Braxton dead. Tess J.T., Heather and Kyle days later gathered for the funeral of their loved ones. JT gives a eulogy. At the cemetery, a man approaches J.T. a job offer who Vincent sent… days earlier, yet with the funeral’s place and time already in hand. Heather discovers that the wigs and burner phones she bought for Vincent and Catherine are missing. Meaning that Vincent and Cat are alive. Six months later, we find Catherine in Paris where she passed the French bar. Vincent arrives outside her law school with a carriage. Vincent calls out to “Isabelle”. Cat asks “Adam” what this is. Vincent says a surprise for their anniversary. They take the carriage ride through the streets of Paris. The carriage drops them off at a café, where Heather, JT and Tess are waiting. JT and Tess tell them that they have moved in together. They are all giggles until Vincent and Catherine dash out the door to stop a purse-snatching. |
