Plot[]
Vincent decides to move in with Catherine. Vincent moves in his various boxes, a giant flat screen, brass lamps and a ton of boxes. Cat is surprised by the size of his TV. Vincent freaks out and not in the typical way – his claws expose themselves and his irises shine. Vincent heads over to JT’s to blow off some steam and play video games. Vincent expresses what’s really bothering him: Catherine is always the one to ground him to his human side, but if he is beast out because of her, then who will bring him back? Vincent heads over to Catherine’s apartment. He walks into the bathroom, hearing the shower running, he takes his shirt off and asks if there is room for one more. When he pulls the shower curtain back, it is not Cat but Heather! Out in the living room (and dressed), Vincent apologizes. Heather confides in Vincent that her fiancé Matthew, called off the wedding due to “commitment issues”. Vincent tries to hide his primal side when the topic of territory comes up. In Agent Thomas’s office, Catherine found a guy suspected of transporting “the serum”: (A solution resulting from experiments on nano-plasma to trigger molecular regeneration). Meanwhile JT worries about impressing Tess’s brothers at a shooting range. Tess correctly warns JT that her brothers are dicks. Jamie Vargas mocks JT for not being able to shoot the target. The brother dismisses Tess when she mentions she may apply for the Captain position at the 125th. He goes as far as saying “Sleeping with your old boss doesn’t qualify you to be one”. This pisses JT off and his way of showing it is shooting bullseye three times in a row. The Vargas brothers are taken aback. Tess is impressed. JT worries the serum is to blame for his newfound marksmanship. When Catherine and Vincent find the courier, Douglas, he is dead. Vincent tracks Douglas and learns that the killer is still in the building. Alton Finn, a mini celebrity in the tech world, sends sparks flying as Vincent and Cat chase after him. When they get to close, Alton blows the fuse blasting Cat and Vincent to the ground. When they stand up, Alton is gone. Someone gave Alton tells Agent Thomas that he needed the serum to live but it was intercepted. Alton killed Agent Thomas by brain electrical overload. Alton can overload anything that uses electricity is the consequence of a tumour “reaching uncharted brain territory”. After being shocked to the brain, Agent Thomas (assumingly confesses that he) intercepted it and gave it to JT. Alton learns that JT reverse-engineered said-serum; so, he lures JT to the hospital. JT falls into Alton’s electric trap. Sparks fly, civilians run. Vincent, Catherine and Tess arrive at the hospital. Vincent wants to beast out and save his friend. Cat reminds Vincent he is “already on the primal edge.” Vincent argues that his “primal brain hardly has brain waves” so he is the safest choice. Vincent goes after Alton and they get into an electric-beast fight. Vincent saves JT and tells him to run. Vincent and Alton fight. Catherine runs in reminds the beasts that they can choose humanity. Alton stops sparking Vincent and Vincent drops Alton. That night, Vincent hooks Alton Finn up with a good brain surgeon. Catherine goes to check on JT and Tess. Vincent goes to check on Agent Thomas. Vincent informs the agent that Barnett died last week. Thomas begs Vincent to stop whoever is behind this. Thomas warns Vincent that JT’s serum was part of the same experiment. At the gentlemen’s club, Tess and JT play video games. JT wonders if he is now superhuman. Tess tells him that she is applying for Captain. Back at Catherine’s apartment, Heather and Cat talk about sister stuff. Heather admits that she knew deep down that Matthew wasn’t right for her. Heather leaves ask Vincent walks in. The couple talk about their issues and decide that they are going to have to deal with some “normal” struggles for a change, but that’s life. Someone shoots Agent Thomas dead. |
